I know I'm at least ten weeks but we heard the heart beat at seven and the doctor said i was measuring right at seven weeks a lot of people I have told seemed suprised. Most say that's really eArly and the ladies who have babies say they didn't hear theirs until nine or ten weeks. When did you first hear your babies heartbeat is seven weeks early for a Doppler heart beat?

With my first pregnancy I first heard the heartbeat at 7 weeks as well! With this one I am 12 weeks and have yet to hear the heartbeat. I had an ultrasound at 10 weeks and got to see the heartbeat, but haven't actually got to hear it yet!I have my 14 week appt here in week and a half so I'll finally be able to hear it then!

I always got to hear the HB at 7wks with my first three babies. My OB had a really good doppler. They were always surprised to find it too.

This time I'm seeing a midwife and their doppler sucks (which they openly admit lol) and it really won't pick up until 11 weeks, so we only tried for one second at my last appt, and just did an ultrasound instead.

I heard the hb at 8wks with my own doppler, but my OB couldn't find it with his at 10wks. I think the doppler (and the position the baby happens to be in at the time) have a lot to do with it.

We did not try at my 7 week appt because I had just had an u/s and she knew we had a heartbeat so didn't want to worry me if she couldn't find it. But we did hear in Friday at 9 weeks 5 days!
