Well, I will be a second time mommy but all the experience I have now comes from being a first timer too!
I hope you don't mind me sharing a laugh with you
The craziest thing I asked my dr was HOW TO PUSH when I WAS HAVING THE BABY!!
We skipped that class and I never thought of it again until I was delivering the baby, haha.
The dr told me "push" and I was like "how?!"
It all was fine and baby was born in 3 pushes (1 poop) within 4 minutes
The symptom that drove me crazy was constipation! Ugh!
Oh, and the peeing-all-the-time at the end. Unbelievable.
And I was hoping for a girl at first but as soon as we found out it was a boy, I couldn't picture it any other way. And now I want another boy

I think one of the first things I asked was how you breastfeed two infants at once. I couldn't picture it at all.
I think I also asked how you manage to pick them up carry around two and handle two all the time. Now I'm 2 years into it and still carrying two all the time
I didn't care what we had the first time and surprisingly don't care this time. I always thought I'd want one of each, but it doesn't matter anymore.
Thank you peimum for my siggie

Oh katie that's so funny and so sad at the same time! But don't feel to bad I was on the phone with my mom and was freaking out because I couldn't find my phone she had me looking everywhere for it and only told me that I was on it once I started crying... She thought is was funny, I did not
I think the funniest thing when I was pregnant with DS1 was how incredibley afraid I was of POOPING during the delivery!! I was petrified! And then when I was actually giving birth to him that was seriously the LAST thing on my mind so I did all the worrying for nothing.
Katharine, that is EXACTLY something I would do! I was in tears over the Chinese because I started fussing at the Chinese restaurant I thought I ordered it from because I was starving and thought they had just misplaced my order. It was only when I got the call from the other one an hour later that I realized that I was crazy!!!
Oh wow yeah that sounds like me too! The other day I was ready to kill for red chili I am from new Mexico so I like my chili hot hot hot! And dude at the counter of the mexican place tried telling me they didn't do extra chili... I slapped my hands on the counter and in a tone that could kill said " I am pregnant and this baby wants extra red chili so it will get extra red chili" he brought out an extra container of it free of charge. Only after the food was gone did I feel bad for getting so upset with the guy.
