My boyfriend and I can't agree on anything! I like something and he comes up with a way the kids at school could make fun of it and everything he likes I don't it's driving me to tears! What do we do?

Sounds like how me and my ex were! He would dismiss almost every name I came up with. But if your having a boy you will find the one, dont worry about it too much yet you still got plenty of time and you may be having a girl anyway!

Do what my sis in law who's also pregnant did - try out the names you like on him. If he doesn't go for it, then tell him the most awful names you can think of. He may start to warm up to the names you really like!

Yeah a girl is a possibility but everyone is having boy dreams before we even told his cousin she texted him saying "I had a dream you and Katharine had a baby and it was a boy" and he has been having boy dreams and we have a thing about dreams so we are leaning more towards a boy

I teach school, and they can make fun of ANYTHING, but normally that's not what they're going to make fun of, IMO. Make fun of his name next time.

Hahaha, my hubby has been AMAZING when it comes to names. He says as long as it's easy to yell (football), he's fine with it!

We've been having issues too. At first I liked Lucien, but then I was like "Nah, I don't like it anymore" and he was sooo upset because he loved it. But I liked Elijah. He liked Eli, but not Elijah and said it sounded stupid..
LOL I just kept suggesting names and he warmed up to Elijah.
It took a while though!
Now I'm rethinking the girl name..

We can never agree on boys names. It is so hard for us. We actually have one semi picked out this time but not sure I am in love with it. I think we are waiting to see what baby is before we really start thinking names.

My FIL went off on DD1 name on all the things she would be called in school I was so mad! We picked her name that was it set in stone so don't ruin it for us!

I am in the same boat. My 2 children are from a previous marriage, so DH had no say so in the name. Well years ago I told him if we ever have a child together, he would get to pick the name. HUGE mistake. I've been pretty much vetoed out of the decision. The names I like gets to be middle names.

Hubby and i can't agree on a boy name either!!! We'll probably only really seek more into it if we have to after finding out this one in fact is a boy. But it's stressful

I feel like DH and I will never agree on a girl name!!! I can think of boy names for days and I'm sure we'll agree on one of them. We have TOTALLY different tastes when it comes to girl names though.

Dh and I don't agree on a single boy name either. I finally gave up asking because he made fun of or said no to everything and I got mad haha. If we find out its a boy, I'll start bugging him again.

A suggestion for those of you having issues with names - DH and I couldn't decide on a girl name when I was pregnant with DD, before we knew we were having a girl. We both made a list of names that we liked, exchanged them and were going to cross off the ones we each didn't like and then pass them back and make a new list until we had it narrowed down, but it turns out we both had one name on the list we both liked a lot, Reagan...we used a baby naming book. Of course, when we named her that wasn't a common name, now it's becoming popular - I like to think we started a trend Anyways, you have lots of time, so you can start your list and ask him to start his, although I see you already chose one!
