Do you sleep in longer on the weekends??? Those with kids, do u find ur kids sleep in a bit longer on the weekend?

Hubby let me sleep in this am while he took care of Victoria I went out last night for a friends bday. But I find Victoria wakes up anywhere from 30-1hr later on the weekends (most times)

I try to sleep in on the weekends, but my bladder tends to wake me up before I want to be awake!

Generally we all sleep in on the weekend. My kids would sleep all day if I let them. This weekend though has been rough, Saturday I was up at 5:45 because of coughing and this morning I was up at 4:00 with my daughter begging me to take her to the ER.......hoping tomorrow is better since they are out of school for the week.

I don't get to sleep in.. my kids aren't the sleeping type... lol. DS1 is up every morning at 6:30.. he always has been. We make him stay in his room and watch cartoons quietly until 7:15 or so when DS2 gets up.

The boys do sleep in a bit on the weekends. Only until about 8 though. During the week my son has to be up for school at 7am so 8 is sleeping in to me! And some mornings like this morning, if Im really lucky, they come in the living room and watch a movie so I get an extra half hour to an hour to sleep. Depends on their mood.

Oh and Lily has always been a late sleeper. She is usually up around 10 but sometimes even sleeps until 11. She loooves to sleep!

I don't normally sleep later on the weekends. My kids are always up early. For once they slept in this morning. It was amazing. I got to sleep until 7:00. Now that I'm prego, DH takes them places without me so I can sneak in a nap if I need it.

My body is so use to getting up during the week at 6 so I still wake up then on weekends, but I go back to sleep for about another hour to hour and half. But always awake by 7:30. I'm not one that likes to lay around in bed after I wake up so I go ahead and get up and start my day.

My kids usually always sleep in. We homeschool so the weekend is just another day to them. They get up around 8am.

My kids don't sleep in any more, so we're usually up by 7:30. My hubby let me sleep in until 9:00 this morning though- that hasn't happened in forever and it was wonderful!!

I never get to sleep in on the weekdays. I have to get up at 5:30 to get breakfasts and lunches made. Then make sure the kids are ready to catch their bus at 7:15am. I usually go back to bed for another hour or 2 after they leave, but lately I have too much stuff to do in the mornings.

On weekends, sleeping in for us is 7:30. Even if the kids do not wake up, we are usually up and unable to go back to sleep by then. This morning our daughter pranced in the room at 7:30 asking for cough medicine though. She then proceeded to cough in my face a few times to show me that she needed it. Lol.

I wish!
Only recently Max started "sleeping in" because we let him come to our bed at 5am.
Before we switched him to a toddler bed, he used to wake up every day at 5:30 am and it was party party party for him *yawn*
Now he sleeps until 6:30/6:45 but he doesn't care what day it is

I do get to take a nap on the weekends though and that's awesome

Rie sometimes sleeps an extra half hour to an hour on the weekends if she stays up later. But even then, latest were up is 8. DH lets me sleep in sometimes which is always nice, but I find it much harder to actually sleep i than it used to be! I naturally wake up around 7 now.

DD is up at 8 or before 8 every day. Lately it's been right after 7 and she's been coming in my room waking me up... uhm no. On the weekends my DH is fantastic.. he lets me sleep. I slept until 10 today and yesterday... hehehe. He gets up at 4:30 for work during the week so for him 7-7:30 is sleeping in.

My hubby and I love staying in bed together on lazy Sundays. We usually sleep in until 12pm or so. Usually up at 4:00 am for work during the week. I get him up and make him breakfast and lunch every day.
We are taking advantage of it while we can!

DD has always been a great sleeper, we get her up at around 7:30/7:45 on the weekdays, since the time change, she has been waking up around then because it is so bright outside. I am usually up before her though. I wake up at 5:30 every morning because of my bladder, during the week, my alarm goes off at 6:30, this does not make me so happy - lol! Anyways, I tried to sleep a little longer this past weekend, but was awake and couldn't lie in bed any longer, so I got up around 7:30ish. I enjoyed that before I was pg, because I could go downstairs, have my coffee and watch the news or whatever I wanted, now I don't enjoy coffee and I have started to feel ick in the mornings, so I don't want to get up so quickly
