Should I be worried? I have some chub so maybe it's just covering it. But I'm worried that baby isn't growing the way it should be

I wouldn't worry too much, it's still plenty early and since this is your first you may not show for a while!

With your first it always takes a while for you to show. I was 12 and 16 weeks when I showed with my first 2.

I have plenty of chub, so I don't expect to show for a little while!

It also depends on your body type - I've got a couple of pictures up there (the latest form two weeks ago at 8wks) where I look rounded out, but it's mostly bloating, I'm actually much smaller now. I have a petite, but wider frame. My cousin on the other hand is just petite all over and she started to show super early, she and her sister were due around the same time (her sister is 6ft tall and broad) and they looked about three months apart for their whole pregnancy so I wouldn't worry, one of the books I've been reading says with your first it can take until after 20 weeks for it to be noticeable by others

With my first, I didn't start to really show until 6 months and I am thin. It all really depends on how your body carries baby. =)

I only had the tiniest little bump that wasn't really noticeable in most of my clothes when I went for my 20 week u/s with #1. Don't worry about not showing yet!

With my first baby I remember standing in front of the mirror at 5 months pregnant and crying to my ex that I didnt even look pregnant. My tummy was still completely flat and I was pretty thin and still did not show. Then right around 6 1/2-7 months I seemed to POP overnight and got huge.

With your first it will take longer to show -- this is all new to your uterus.
Definitely nothing to worry about!

Since I am nice and fluffy, I don't expect to show until later. I figure 5 or 6 months I'll have something to show other than my chubbies. LOL The only thing I am showing is big boobs! HA!!!

I wouldn't say I was showing by 10w even with my twins. I think I was more bloat than anything at that point. I have a nice bump going now, but still it's more bloat than anything even with my 2nd.

I am thin and didn't start to show until I was almost 24 weeks with my first. Typically you won't start to show until after the first trimester, really depends on your body and how your carrying the baby (where the baby is positioned in your uterus too).

Totally normal. I am 12 weeks and barely have any bump at all. With my first I didn't show until about 15 weeks, and to strangers I just looked chunkier. I didn't get a real baby bump until around 18 weeks.
