Everything went great once we got to the Dr's office. We were sent to one that was about 30 minutes away from my regular office because the ultrasound equipment is located at only one office. We got a little lost on the way and of course we didn't have our gps, but I walked in about 7 minutes late.
As far as the appointment went, I had to give a urine sample and they took all of my vitals. I haven't gained any weight, so theres a plus there. With this m/s, I think I've gone down a bit and now I'm back up. They then took me and my hubby straight to the ultrasound room. The NP was very nice (she did the u/s instead of a tech), but went straight to business. She zoomed in on the baby right away and told me there was only one (Thank goodness! I'm a twin and was worried). She then found the heartbeat and it was such a joyous sound! 176 bpm. I am measuring spot on at 9 weeks, 2 days. At first she said I was measuring ahead, but that was because the receptionist typed in my LMP wrong. Haha! Glad we got that fixed.
They then sent me on to the lab where they took 7 viles of blood! Yikes! Everything feels so much more real now and I am so relieved. I don't know why, but I seem much more worried and nervous with this second one. Here is the u/s pic! Say hi to my gummy bear!
