It's still pretty dang early to determine that! It will move as your uterus grows!

No clue right now. I had an anterior one with my girls. It blocked me from feeling movement from baby b for a really long time.

Mine was anterior... I got the impression that they don't usually tell people, but they were a little bit concerned about the location at my 20 wk u/s. I'm not sure why- the u/s tech got all quiet suddenly, then after a minute said that I had an anterior placenta. She explained that she had been concerned it might be partially blocking the cervix, but was finally able to see that it wasn't. Idk if she will tell us where it is this time...

Mine was anterior with both of the boys.. I don't know yet this time.. today we should find out where it is at the moment, but like Lisa said, it moves with time.

Mine is posterior. My dr made a point to make sure b/c if it was anterior and anywhere near my scar then he said I had a 50% chance of needing a hysterectomy b/c he would likely be unable to remove all of the placenta if it got adhered to scar tissue. SCARY! I was soooo thankful to hear it was posterior and nowhere near my scar!
