Did you baby measure a bit behind or right on track??

I had my u/s almost 3 weeks ago and the baby measured at 6wks 3days and I was 8 wks at the time. The tech told me it could be that I O'd late.

Anyone else experience this??

I had an ultrasound when I was 6 weeks 2 days and was measuring 5 weeks 5 days. Normal!

If you were going my your LMP to calculate how far along you were, then I would say that you probably just O'd late. I know exactly what day I O'd, so going by that the baby is measuring perfectly.

I was the same, measuring about a week behind, although it seems to have caught up now. They also told me that early ultrasounds can also be +/- 7 days in accuracy so it also depends on that, they still haven't confirmed my due date and I've had three u/s. They'll confirm the date when I go in at 13 weeks.

No matter whether you know when you ovulated, or even when your LMP was...it's totally normal for bub to measure up to a week off what you think in the first trimester. It can just be hard to get a good shot sometimes too.

At my first ultrasound baby was right on my dates. Exactly 7 weeks 1 day. I had an ultrasound at 10 weeks 1 day. I'm absolutely certain on the day I ovulated (as we were trying for this baby) but bub measured 9 weeks 4 days. A few seconds later (same visit) she took a second measurement and bub was 9 weeks 6 days. So, it can vary.

my first 2 always measured smaller....and I knew their exact conception date (IVF). perfectly fine.

This baby is always measuring 4 days ahead.

Well according to my O date I guessed that day I should be 11 weeks even! I knew there was no way I would 12w5d as per LMP! I measured 11w1d so possibly 1 day ahead?

I know the day I ovulated, so it was measuring right on track with that.

My first U/S I was supposed to be 9w2d but baby measured 8w5d. My dr said it was normal, but she's still keeping my original due date because it's just a few days.
