I got my ticker from Lilypie.com and I entered my due date (which is based on the date of conception); however, my ticker says I'm 9 weeks along even though I'm only actually 7 weeks along. 9 weeks would be since LMP, but the embryo is only 7 weeks along. I don't like counting it based on LMP because that doesn't measure the actual development of the fetus, so how do I get an accurate ticker?? Anyone else have that problem?

I use pregnology. It gives you the option of going by your conception date, or LMP. If you don't want to use your LMP you can always keep adjusting the dates to get it to the right day.

EDD is June 29. Conception happened either Oct. 9 or 10.

The ones I use gave the choice of using the conception date. They are accurate.

When books and websites give you information on fetal development by weeks, they are going by the typical 2 weeks previous to actually conception. So it is still accurate. I think people are mis understanding your question. When entering your conception date or ovulation date, it still adds those two weeks prior to that. They don't calculate anything minus those two weeks. That I know of, all Drs. will consider you 9 weeks pregnant, even though we all know you hadn't actually conceived for two weeks after.

Thank you Quantum_Leap for my beautiful siggy!!
