So I'm sure by now most of you know, Ive been having some spotting for last few weeks. It seems to have lessened which is AWESOME. I had my first prenatal today with the midwife that delivered my youngest daughter and she was amazing.
Apparently, on my last ultrasound it was found that i have a small SCH. Hmm why wasn't that mentioned to me before?! Anywho it is what it is and accounts for my spotting which eased my mind. Here I am thinking something is really wrong with me and or LO and all they had to do was say, SCH.
My exam checked out great and she says my uterus feels like its on track. Ooo whatever a uterus feels like LOL
It was also mentioned, and I didn't notice this before, but apparently the gestational sac was coming to a point (or so it appeared). She told me to remember a few things, first the u/s was transvaginal and its a 2d image of a 3d part of anatomy,We have growth appropriate growth, we have a heartbeat and we have doubling hcg!! (Oh yea, funny how when your freaking out the good stuff kind of takes the back seat) She wanted me to be aware but also to let me know that is could be showing that way as a result of the SCH, so not to worry.
In any event, my appointment went great and I learned a lot of info. I feel good about everything, and Im in a better place. My follow up US is on the 7th! Can't wait
YAY Me lol
Melissa, Wife to Kenneth and Mommy to Courtney, Mikayla and Caelyn, and our BOY Kenny!
Yay congrats! The only reason they told me about MINE was cause I saw it and asked about it. I was looking for a twin pregnancy and wanted to know if the SCH was another gestational sac that didn't have a baby in it. Plus they were measuring it, so it had to be something of importance!
