I know eating for two means, eating for two. But sheesh!

What I've had today (so far):
b-fast sandwich at McD's (5:30am)
fruit cup x2 (snack/lunch)
grapefruit (snack @10:30)
mac and cheese (lunch @ noon)
applesauce (lunch)
bagel (snack @ 1:30)

I'm still starving! Its 4:30, I've been trying to wait until at least 5:30-6pm to eat again. And thisis a daily thing. I'm *never* full and the "I need to puke" feeling only goes away when I eat something. Its like my stomach is empty and I start feeling sick until it has something else to work on. Ideally, I'd like to gain nothing (loss fat, gain baby wieght). BUT, I've already gained 5 pounds. I mean, do I have twins and they only see one to account for such a massive hunger? Or is it normal to be this hungry and I was just so sick with my daughter I couldn't eat.

I think the hunger is totally normal for many women. Remember you need to increase your caloric intake by 300 calories per day minimum. From what you said you are eating, it doesn't sound like a lot to me. But then again, I am ravenous this pregnancy and never was with DD.

I'm having a weird time with food. I feel like I'm starving but I'm unable to eat anything. I'm not sick and the thought of food doesn't make me naseuas, but it's like I'll go to eat something and my throat closes up like NOPE nothing's going in!! The only thing I seem to be able to intake is liquids. This is so weird because I AM hungry!!

Oh and I'm 6w5d with twins. So I need to be eating for three! Lol. And I've already lost 5 pounds.

I had severe hunger at first too. I wasn't like that with my 5 year old DD. Now if I feel slightly hungry I better eat right away or I'll feel really sick. If you're hungry eat. Just try and make healthy choices.

hope71012 - I feel the EXACT same way as you! I have been eating SO much. I am hungry all the time and when I don't eat I get very nauseous. I'm eating a ton of fruit to try to fill my stomach with healthy food (plus fruit is one of the only foods that sounds good to me) but I have started gaining weight. I was doing okay until this week when I gained 3 lbs in 2 days! I'm not sure what to do differently.
