so if we are leaking at this stage, is it colostrum? or something i should be worried about? i cant see a fat load of it.. it looks clear.. and its really not very much. but its sticky. like, i'll cover my boobs in soap, and it feels like its still sticky. hard to get out. but it itches and since nothing works, i've used cortizone cream, which i think helps a little. but is it wise to use on leaking boob? or open sore boob? not quite sure how to word this.

if you're leaking, or btdt mommies, what are you doing, or have you done to help ease the itch?

I would say it colostrum and that is actually good for itchy, dry nipples. lol

I never leaked ahead of time. I would just put a breast pad in my bra.

If they are itchy and not dry I would just keep them wiped clean with a warm wash cloth.

^^ nice!!

i had thought it was more a curse than anything, but if colostrum has itchy relief benefits, bring it on! its been a long 21 weeks without it!

thanks ladies!

Likely colostrum. Is it your nipples that are itchy, or your boobs in general? Mine are sensitive and itchy from a bit of swelling and just being rubbed by my bra. Grrr.

Obviously if it gets worse, if anything's painful, then get it checked out, but itchy and leaking sounds normal, lol.

yes I would say it is colostrum. I agree with Jillian, I would just use a breast pad in my bra and hopefully you can rub some on your boobs and it will help with the dry itchness!!! I know mine itch like crazy.

Thank you *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy

I usually use lotion and wear breastpads. Mine leak a ton and usually pretty early on.

I would recommend stopping soap all together and just moisturizing with a good hypoallergenic lotion after your shower. That is what they recommend when you are breastfeeding.
