when do you normally start to feel movement? I will be 20 weeks tomorrow, and so far I've had flutters, but nothing really solid. It's beginning to worry me.

Mostly I get flutters. But I also have a few extra pounds there and also a anterior placenta. Every once in a while I get a bigger movement.

I feel flutters and twists/scrape like feelings. Everywhere I've read and being my 3rd, all indicate that the really solid kicks start about 30 weeks. They jump up to 2 lbs at that point and all of their bone has turned solid so they have more power to throw behind those kicks

I'm 20 weeks tomorrow too!! I still haven't felt anything. At my last appointment she said it may be a bit longer because of where the placenta is located, she said not to worry. I would imagine you're in the same/similar boat. I hope we feel our babies soon!!!

I am almost 20 weeks also. I have felt flutters not much more. I have some extra pounds and a lot of scar tissue from a tummy tuck that might be playing a part here. I will fine out today where my placenta is located at. I think that might be playing a part also. I can't wait until we start to feel real kicks.

I feel a lot of movement, but it's mostly little taps. But this is also my third pregnancy. It also really depends where your placenta is.

2 IVF babies and 1 surprise!

I'm 19 weeks and surprised I haven't felt more by now. It's getting stronger each day. At my last appt my doctor said I am at the point where I should start feeling more. Our little fella is still feet down so I am feeling a lot of kicks low. So, as the baby grows more the next couple of weeks I am looking forward to more activity.

I am 21.5 weeks and this is my second baby. Over the last week is when I finally started to feel more than just a flutter here and there, and actually feel little movements at least a few times each day. No big kicks yet, just like "bump-bumps" i like to call them. Last night was the first time I could feel it on the outside with my hand. I also have anterior placenta. Doctors will say its normal to not feel anything until 20-24 weeks if it is your first, often is earlier, but nothing to worry about if it isn't. Have you had your ultrasound yet?

Thank you Alethia for my siggy!
