Who has started looking for their baby's coming home outfit? If so, what have you been looking at?

I want to start looking but I can't find any girl clothes that I'm in love with... I've only search a few websites. I'm thinking of getting something custom made with her name on it.

I'm leaning towards an outfit from Janie & Jack but am still undecided, and I'll probably change my mind once more spring clothes come out in stores. I like these pieces so far though from there:

I got a couple of cute kimono style shirts outfits with the shirt, pants, and matching hat from target. I usually do something lke that. Something soft, and cute, and defetly comfortable.

I'll probably pick something when the time gets closer. We usually just do a sleeper.

I've been looking, but I'm not finding anything. I, personally, find boy stuff to be boring. Boys are fun, but their clothes aren't.

I picked this outfit out while my mom was visiting during the holidays. It can be snapped as a gown or a pant outfit. The nursery is teddy bears so I thought it was perfect.

I have a few outfits to choose from, nothing fancy or complicated. I found a newborn onesie with a skeleton glow in the dark in the front from Halloween. And I thought my son would love that because he has a skeleton glow in the dark that he likes. It's hilarious to me. Is it too weird?? Be honest.

LOL....I do find it odd, but hey...it's your baby and if your son would love it why not?!

So far, this is what we have for him for coming home. I love comfy. We have an hour drive in the car from the hospital too.
PS...I have seen some super cute personalized baby items for girls on Etsy!!!

i like onsies/pants outfits, like from carters.
Ive bought a few options, but nothing is set in stone. Being that it will be end of may/early june in Florida when Olivia is born, its going to be HOT. So i dont want to overdress her.

i did buy these onsies- and i might just stick her in one of those, with a little hat or headband. And then cover her with a blanket if needed. Im going to play it by ear. I might pack a onsie and a pants outfit and if its chilly then we will put her in pants, if not, then she will go in the onsie.

Btw, i LOVE these onsies, they dont look that bright online but omg, they are NEON. Plue the ruffles make them so much more than standard onsies!

I think we are going to try and find a simple pink cotton dress, a hat and put a light blanket on her. Either that or a onesie with pink pants, socks and a hat..then if needed a light blanket. Still looking for something though.

I usually just pick something comfortable. I don't really go all out for a coming home outfit. I did learn with my first son to take really small items. The outfit I took for him was way too big and it was NB.

I'll probably grab something out of the baby clothes we have already. We have some cute sleepers.

I've been glancing for fun. it will probably be one of the only out fits I pick out myself. we have so many hand me downs that I really don't neeed to buy anything. so I am using coming home as an excuse to go shopping .

Those are cute! I sparkly heart carters! For girls longer than boys, boys only for about the first year then I don't like much of the style other than the sleepers.

I haven't looked yet. With DD3 I hadn't bought anything yet because money was tight so my mom ran to Burlington and bought a really nice one piece outfit. I like the idea of personalized though, especially since this will be my last lil one.

Something comfortable like a sleeper I think. It's a 2minute drive home from the hospital so I don't need to get the baby all dressed up.

We have been looking but nothing for sure. I don't care for "cutesy" boy clothing with puppy dogs and ducks ect. We love skater/punk clothes. Just haven't narrowed down which we want so far. It's totally cute to see babies/kids look like a mini version of daddy. Love that.

That's how I am lol. Carters actually has some cute baby friendly stuff that appeals to me right now as well. Old navy had a few things too.
