On Thursday when the doctor found that Atticus had not been growing he told me to call if I noticed a change in movement. I am pretty sure I will be calling because I am used to him having movement patterns where he moves for an hour or two in the mid morning and late at night with some movement in between now I am only getting him to move for five to ten minutes at a time with noise like music or using Doppler. So while I will be calling the doctor I thought I would ask how other babies are moving at this point being as they are losing space.

Mine is moving more now. His kicks are all in the same spot though so he's pretty predictable at this point. He moves a little in the morning and throughout the day but come 6 pm and he's none stop for hours lol.

I hope your baby is just losing space and that's why he's moving less.

this bubbas 'active' periods are unpredictable but when she moves she really moves! It hurts and my skin feels like it's gonna tear open. I feel her movements more intense these days that ever b4 in this pregnancy.

I have heard a lot of people say that their babies move less toward the end, due to the confined space. I have always felt like my babies move more at this point...maybe trying to make more space for themselves. Ashton is a pretty predictable mover, too. He is most active in the morning and evening, that is when the real belly shaking happens. He tends to have long periods of activity broken up by an hour or two of quiet time.

That makes me feel less crazy for calling. I am waiting for one of the nurses to call me back I was feeling quite paranoid for calling even though I could still make him move when I make him angry.

Conor has his sleepy period in the morning, wakes up for about 30mins after breakfast, goes back to sleep til right after lunch, goes back to sleep until dinner (with occasional tosses and turns) and then is up ALL night long lol. I have to get up and rock him from side to side sometimes because I cant fall asleep with his rib kicking lol. He isnt kicking as much as before though because of lack of room, so now I just get a butt that moves from left to right most of the time.

Today I've noticed less too...overall it's been less since my 9th month began...now it's mostly stretches and slight movemnts.. I'm going to try to measure it after dinner and dessert...I have an ultrasound tomorrow so I'll be put at ease then.

Maybe they can push up your weekly appt?

Everything is slides and hiccups. DD2's hands are also in my bladder. She's so long I can feel her butt in my ribs. I can't even slouch!

I hope everything went well for you!

The NST went fine he passed with flying colors although he was in a bad spot so I had to hold the heart monitor on. Somehow I lost 6 pounds in 4 days with both weights done on the same scale. Ultrasound and appointment on Thursday we will see what doctor says after that but at least today was perfect.
