I'm in the 7th week by LMP, and there's an obvious yolk sac, and a curve of a little baby behind it with a hard-to-see flickering. Doctor not encouraged, I'm going to a specialist with a better machine in the next couple days. Had a m/c over the summer so I've kept - and am keeping - any excitement about this pregnancy at bay waiting for this appt.
I feel sort of distant from this news. It's not 'bad news' yet, but it's not good news. It's easier at least than the 1st time which was an utter shock and took my heart and legs out from under me.
Thank you Tasha Mae for my fantastic siggy!
We're due Jan 31st!!

Isn't that everything you're supposed to see? I'm confused why the doc is so negative about it. Anyways, if it was an u/s in their office it was probably one of the crappy u/s machines that doesn't give good details. I bet you'll hear good news at your next one. Try not to worry!
We went to the specialist doc yesterday and baby is measuring 6 weeks, 108 heartbeat, and the doctor said 'everything looks fine'. We go back in a week. She wasn't worried about the heartbeat, she said it's normal when it's early. We were so sure it was bad news, the 'good' news hasn't sunk in. My cycle is 36 days, LMP Nov 27 -- so, here's hoping it's just really early!
JulieMc and everyone - thanks for the supportive thoughts, you were right about keeping optimistic!
