When I was pregnant with DD I had it on my right side. Which sucked because I was still recovering from a Torn Muscle on my left side aprox the same area where you would feel Sciatic pain. It was torture and so hard to sleep good. Then I got my body pillow and that helped allot. I had it early I remember, in the first Trimester for sure. It also may be a weight issue, but I'm not sure. Me being on the plus size side and having a back injury already might have had something to do with it too.
GL though, I know how much it hurts so I know how you feel.

I have been struggling with this as well! It started right around the time I got my bfp, so super early! Started off as pain, then after a day or two became partial numbness. The numbness has not gone away and it is causing me to limp, it is so frustrating and has limited my activity drastically. In my last pregnancy I experienced it maybe for a day or two but later in the pregnancy. However, this pregnancy has been different in a lot of ways thus far.
Hope we get some relief soon!
