I havent told DH yet.. not really about ANY of my tests... well i wanted to tell DH for valentine's day.. that is if i make it that far.. i didnt realize it was still a month away LOL... i'd idealy like to wait until then because of the whole mc issue... last cycle when we conceived i told him for Christmas, the following day had to tell him i was miscarrying.. it really sucked
anyways.. for Valentine's Day hes taking me out to dinner at some really nice place.. and to see Howie Mandel Live... well i need an idea on how to tell him
the idea ran across my mind, to give a little horizontal card (meaning reads horizontally) to the waiter/ress and ask them when we order our desert (which would most likely be only 1 bc im not a sweets person).. to some how put it on the desert/plate... and place it in front of DH.. and obviously he sees the card.. and reads it
I have no ideas - I remember watching `Full House`as a kid and the mom-to-be character cooked her husband a dinner with minature foods - that is the only idea that comes to mind!!
I understand your apprehension (I had a false positive 6 months previously). This time round, I thought that I should wait a while to tell my husband, but I could not hold it in (sorry about the bad advice).
I like your V-day dessert idea. I am sure he will be shocked and thrilled (if you can wait that long)!!
