Guess I'm making up for it now seriously I'll be sitting here... Perfectly fine... Not feeling sad at all... With tears streaming down my face. It's got me to the point where I'm beginning to laugh at myself it's just so weird to not *feel* sad at all inside but on the outside it appears that I'm bawling.

Anyone else or is it just me?

That is how I was after I had my first son.....I cried more after I had him than I did my whole pregnancy. This time it isnt so bad, I do still cry but nearly as much as I did the first time. It will get better as your hormones level out.

I cried a lot the first few days. The day I was leaving the hospital I was bawling. I kept telling the nurse I was sorry that I was just emotional and she said they see it all the time. I was so excited about going home and Christmas yet, I was crying like my puppy just died.
I hope it eases up for you soon.

I cried so much the first week pp that i ended up in the ER. Luckily it has passed and they think it was a combination of the hormonal changes and starting zoloft, but i was a total wreck and had two days i couldn't get out of bed. Now i'm feeling fine most of the time (though certainly exhausted and stressed out) but i still have occassional crying bouts for no real reason. It's crazy, but totally normal.

I did this with both my girls. With Bella I was overjoyed with happiness and could not stop crying tears of joy. I'm sure I looked like a basket case. This time, I cried a lot too but I think a lot of it was stress and hormones. I had a harder time adjusting to a newborn and toddler than I thought I would in the very beginning and I would cry just because or because I was stressed.

I've been a basketcase since mid-way through labor. I am NOT a crier, but wow... The tears are flowing now when I'm happy, angry, tired...any emotion that I feel strongly will make me cry now!

And here I go doing it again.

Yep. BFing has been such a huge, painful struggle and dealing with the emotions of the c/s have both left me an emotional mess. I have been crying non-stop pretty much for the last few days. My head is killing me from all the tears.

I started today. Of course I finally had to admit to myself that I am not going to be able to make it to my bother's wedding and I REALLY want to go. Everyone at home is going to be so disappointed. I will be the only one who doesn't get to go and they all wanted to see the baby.

I've broken down a few times. The smallest thing will set me off.

We really just can't afford it right now. The ticket to fly would be between $800 and $1200. the $800 tickets are multiple layovers, which I don't want to do alone with a newborn, and we obviously can't take the entire family, that would be WAY too expensive. Plus, I can't take the kids out of school for 2 weeks to make it worth the money to go. So, it would be just me and Killian. Logistically it isn't going to work either

I am so bummed.

I didn't cry that much during pregnancy but I have had plenty crying now. My csection did not go smoothly, breastfeeding/weight gain stress and then as each week ticks by, I think about how I have to go back to work means I also need to start looking for a new job (my current job ends mid-July) and it stresses me out thinking of all the change this year.
