The nights were getting better but last night was a total mess

We celebrated DD's birthday and I wanted to go to bed around 22.30 because it had been extremely busy that afternoon. Julian however, decided to stay awake...... Until 05.30!!!!!!
I only slept 1,5 hour until DD woke up at 07.00

I seriously cried that night because I was to tired at one point. In the end I layed him in his stroller and he fell asleep right away. So I slept on the couch next to him. I think I will put the stroller in our bedroom tonight if his routine is off again. He feels much safer in the stroller than in his crib. It is now 14.15 here and I can't take a nap because it is time for his feeding and DD will be awake after I finish........

The first few nights we tried putting him in his bassinet, but he'd wake up and fuss every couple hours. Then we discovered that if we put him in his carrier, he sleeps much better. I think he feels more secure in his carrier, so we just bring that in the room and put it by our bed. Since we started that, our nights have been pretty easy. He only gets up once or twice, if he gets up at all.

I know how you feel. I wanted to be in bed by now. It is 22.00 right now and he has been up since 18.00

But I will let him cry if he has not slept until his next feeding at around 0.00. I have to catch some sleep!
