A very tentative hello. I just got a BFP @ 10dpo. I have a 2 1/2 year old little boy but I recently had two missed miscarriages and I'm newly pregnant.
I'm English, living in the US, and really like sports, hiking, etc. Hoping I'll get to stick around this place. I have my first hCG lab scheduled for this afternoon and I'm hoping that when I have the second I'll get some good news. At this point I'm trying to work out how I can manage my anxiety given my recent losses. I very sadly lost my father over Thanksgiving so 2011 was a brutal year. May 2012 bring some joy for us all!
Hello and congrats. Your LO is so handsome . I am so sorry to hear about your losses. I hope and pray this bean sticks for you. I look forward to getting to know you. I myself can't wait for spring to arrive to start back fly fishing.
Wow, Delaney, good to see another Brit here! What brought you to the States? And where are you from?!
I am from Oxford (family/childhood) and then London (birthplace/where I lived before I moved). I moved to the States after dating DH long-distance for a few years...came over here to visit him for what I thought was a few weeks, he proposed 2 days into the trip, we got married a month later & I've been here since! Where in the UK are you from?
Thanks for the lovely welcome. I am a nervous wreck. I did get my hCG lab done today and I await the results.
Delaney - I was born in the midlands but grew up in Devon. I lived in Cambridge for a number of years, though (as I was at Uni there). We've been in the States for over 10 years now! We're in Southern Maine.. where are you? Do you plan on staying here?
Thanks, K Kitty - we are a bit biased but we think DS is a real sweety.
