I forget if I've asked this already, but ah well. What brands do you ladies recommend and how much should I expect to pay for a decent quality manual pump? I've just been hand expressing, but I want to see if I'd get more from pumping instead. I don't think I'll use it enough to justify buying a really high-end one, but I really don't know what they cost.

I use a manual. It is evenflo SimplyGo and it cost me $19.99.

They do have decently priced electric pumps though if you don't need a dual pump. You could spend $80 - $100 on them.

Medela is $30. I think either model suggested would work great

I bought the Medela (Harmony) manual pump. I really like it . I was able to pump about 5 oz. in around 20 minutes the other day, so it's pretty strong. It's also easy to clean and assemble .

I love the Avent ISIS, I have owned two of them now! I had to replace the one I bought 12+ years ago for my son because I lost some of the pieces.

I love the Avent ISIS, too! $20 to $30 if I am not mistaken, and they might have renamed it- but it is the Avent brand. I am on my second one as well- 5 kids!

Wow, awesome, I thought they'd be more expensive! Thanks everyone, I'll keep an eye out for those brands.

I love the medela harmony, it's like $30 and seems to drain the breast almost as well as he does. Doesn't take me very long to get several oz.
