I posted a while ago about a study done by the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. I officially signed him up and completed the interview process. They have to review our interview and let me know if we are a candidate for the study. She said that it doesn't look like there's anything that would make us not qualify. I wanted to wait until talking to my pediatrician to make sure there wasn't something I was missing that could be bad, and they gave us the thumbs up to go for it I'm excited to get the information after each session on his development. They bring you in at 6, 12, 18, 24 and possibly 36 months to meet with the research team and do an MRI and they give you a detailed write up of your little ones development. It would also be really excited to be able to be part of a study that uncovered something useful for kids with Autism too
And, I found out today they actually pay you $50 per visit plus reimburse you for any travel costs and put you up in a hotel (since we are about an hour and a half away). That was a nice little surprise.
