Are you taking Zofran or another anti-nausea meds? It was a huge side affect for me so as soon as I stopped taking it the constipation got wayyyy better. Colace is good to get things going but I only took half the bottle recommended dose and it worked quite well! You can also take metamucil to help keep things goin GL hope it eases for you!!
Nope, not for me! But I am a 2 times a week girl anyway, but pregnant it can be worse! Weird I know!
I was so 'backed up' when I was pregnant with my first that my son literally did not come out! My midwife offered an enema and literally 10 min latter he was out! She laughed and said in her 30 years she has never had someone so clogged! lol!!

Certain prenatal vitamins really clog me up. My midwife had me switch to a plant based one, at least, I think that's what she called it. Anyway, I was taking the Target brand prenatals and switched to Trader Joes brand. It helped tremendously and I've been taking them ever since. Baby #3 is still nursing so I had already been taking prenatals before I even got pregnant.
I certainly hope so!! I had the constipation with my previous pregnancies as well and it really didn't go away until after having my children I have tried adding extra fiber and regular fruits and it doesn't seem to help. I tried dried fruits the other day and it seemed to help. I need to pick up some more from the store asap.
