*NO opinions on what other moms are doing or not doing! Just respond with what YOU are doing!!!*

What parenting rules are you breaking? Like the "experts" say do this or don't do this but you do what works for you. Are there any that you are breaking?

We cosleep/bedshare, nurse while sleeping, let baby sleep in the carseat, let the kids watch more tv than experts say is good for them, and shhh, bribe them with candy!

How about you???

I'm not consistent in my disciplining, I let DD drink apple juice most of the day, I let her stay up until she falls asleep on the weekends, I make her different meals from us so she'll eat...

I put Matthew down after he's asleep even though I know I'm creating a monster. I let Dylan go to sleep with milk in his cup although we are going to try and go back to just water at night.

Up until a few days ago Joel was sleeping right next to me in bed. I've let him sleep in the car seat.

We have been bed sharing. I let my older kids watch too much TV, mostly the 3 year old and the older boys get too much video game/computer time.

Oh yeah, I forgot that one! Leila and Owen play on the Iphone and Itouch TOO much! Ideally it would be limited to 20 min increments but it gives me good long periods of time to get stuff done.

We bedshare. He sleeps snuggled against my body every night. If he falls asleep in the car, I leave him in his carseat until he wakes up (I bring it inside of course). I let him take naps on his tummy. If I lay him down on his back, he wakes up, but he will stay out for a couple hours on his belly. I am sure there is more, but that's all I got right now.

I've been microwaving (carefully) bottles. Max has been spending too much time on the ipad, but with a newborn I'd rather him get extra time on the ipad than feel neglected because I can't play with him as much as I used to.

When I was nursing I nursed him while he slept, I microwave bottles, he sleeps in the PnP in our room sometimes, I hold him till he falls asleep then put him down and I use powder on his bottom! I'm sure there are more, but this is all I can think of for now.

Hmm... Idk that I'm breaking any with Jackson. I'd bed share if I wasn't afraid of him being there til he's 5 like DD, so I've been strict with him sleeping in his bed. But during night feedings I do nod off a few times with him in my arms.
I break a ton of rules with DD though. She watches tv til she falls asleep on the weekends and gets special meals made for her other than ours, I bribe her with food cuz she's so dang skinny and let her eat junk food (try to fatten her up, lol).
