So everything is finding its place pretty well since my move but I am REALLY struggling to get those last few boxes gone! We don't have much storage other than closets but it is stuff like my holiday boxes and memory boxes. I am at a loss for what to do with them! Wish I had some more storage space at this new apartment!
Oh and I have NEVER cleaned out so much of my stuff in my life! I have gotten rid of boxes and boxes! Pretty proud of myself! Still need to attack the playroom because it is WAY WAY too full lol.
Next job is to get curtains up and work on decorating the rooms!
OH!! Any advice on how to get that new carpet/new paint smell gone?? No matter how much I febreeze and clean it seems like every time I walk in the house that is all I smell!
Have you considered under bed storage for memories ect? That is where I stored a bunch of stuff that I didn't want to put in our icky basement. For the smell I would suggest opening all of the windows for a day. If it is windy that is great and if not if you have fans use them to stir up the air. Just go somewhere for a few hours so that you don't freeze and then when you get back the smell should be gone.
Do you have room for storage furniture? Like getting a coffe table that has storage in it vs just a plain table. Sneaky things like that so you can store stuff and have it at your reach. I am obsessed with furniture that doubles as storage because this house only has bedroom closets so there is no where for outdoor clothes or even towels and linens.
Sounds like this house! We could have a coffee table(and actually do have one but just not yet in the house) but I am thinking ahead to when Mallory is learning to walk. I don't care for the stress of worrying about busted heads and lips, etc that a coffee table helps to insure. KWIM? I'll think more on that furniture that serves as storage and see what I can come up with! Thanks a ton!
