Everything for Kaleb has been purchased or ordered and delivered (play yard w/ bassinet and changing table, mamaRoo, some blankets, some clothing, all his diapers, infant car seat, convertible car seat, double stroller, pump replacement parts) and I am just waiting on DH's custom BabyHawk and my mama cloth. I have my bag half packed (my pjs, robe and slipper socks), just have to add in his coming home outfits, blanket and two diapers to have for when we are released.

Since we are ready for him to arrive I have gone nuts at home. Now that our girls' birthday party is over and done, I no longer have to work on that. I have now moved onto cleaning their room since their new bed has arrived, doing all stored laundry to go through all of our clothes, cleaned our room, setup the play yard. A friend gave me 3 huge bags of clothing in NB and 0-3 so I have to wash all that. DH keeps saying the nesting has kicked in. We are supposed to meet our doula next week and if all goes well Kaleb should be here in the next 9-13 weeks. I am just glad I have gotten this weird burst of energy to get the house cleaned and ready.

Yay for having things ready! I'm pretty much ready to go - just need to pack my bag. I've been cleaning constantly, it drives DH nuts

I swear DH is going to collapse one of these days. Most nights he will stay up until 12am or so helping to get the girls in bed and a sleep and has to be up at 4:45am for work and then comes home and I have him going nuts cleaning with me.

I am the opposite lately...just to tired to do anything...I am hoping the nesting kicks back in though because there are several projects I would like to tackle before he gets here.

I've definitely gotten the nesting kick but it's not overly extreme. I've washed all the clothes and keep putting things away to the point where people in the house complain that they weren't done with whatever.

Haha. Oh well.

I think a contributing factor is I am a major spring cleaner-I always get on a clean/organizing kick anyways as it gets warmer, so throwing nesting in on top of makes for very busy weekends! I still haven't gotten it bad enough to get much done on weeknights though. I do keep obsessively cleaning my desk at work though.

I'm definitely nesting. I went through a phase of cleaning out my computer files, backing up, doing registry scans, clearing temp files, etc. And now I'm onto the house! Kate's room has been cleaned out, we installed shelves in her closet so everything got put away finally, we bought shelves for our basement storage so we can put more bins and bags down there. The last two days we've been feverishly working on our bedroom.... just got it all cleaned out, need to do like three million loads of laundry (only a slight exaggeration), then put all that in storage. I just put all my non-maternity clothes in a bin for the basement, put all my maternity stuff folded in a brand new dresser, putting photos on the wall for the first time in 4 years, etc.

So I can't say that I'm like scrubbing out the shower or microwave or anything (yet) but we're clearing stuff out and I'm just feverishly throwing things out, donating, and just feeling an overwhelming urge to simplify and organize.
