Hi there! I'm Rachel I'm a newlywed and just got a surprise BFP on a couple hpt's!
According to different pregnancy due date calculators I may be due either November 5th or 2nd. Not really sure! I had blood work done this afternoon and I'll get those results in the morning Though, I think I'm safe. I had a faint positive 11 dpo, a stronger one 12dpo and a standard positive 13dpo.
I'm feeling ok about it! But, I got the call from the doctors this morning telling me I had to retake my hcg beta test on Monday because the results were "inconclusive". She told me there was something there, so I asked what the numbers were and she said 56! I thought anything above 25 was considered pregnant? I don't know, I'm confused now...
Today is my missed period and I have 25 day cycles. I'm reading all over the internet all these scary things Here's to hoping that a beta hcg of 56 is a good reading at the end of 3 weeks!
Rachel - Don't let them worry you about your numbers. They did the exact same thing to me today and it makes me mad. There is nothing wrong with either of our numbers. Having you go back is routine, they do that for everyone to make sure the number is doubling. They shouldn't have made it sound like it was because your number was too low today.
