Looking around our little apartment - it is clear we are going to have to move in the next 9 months. Sigh. I hate moving. Our lease is up at the end of April, but this place is pretty cheap so the DH is trying to convince me we should stay for six more months. We would save a hefty chunk of change, but I know I'm going to want to move later even less.
So I've spent the evening looking for new spaces...I StreetEasy.com but wish this part was over already!!
You can tell DH that you are willing to stay for the extra 6 months if he does all the moving for you (since you will be heavily pregnant). Say he can move now and you will help or move later and you won't help. You'll be getting a deal either way!
I feel ya Becky. Our lease is up in may and then we are house hunting. I'm excited to be buying our first home, but I know it's going to be stressful... I wish that part was already over. I can't wait to find out what we are having and have DH paint the nursery. (nursery doesn't it sound amazing)
We just moved and it is no fun. We lived in a little 1 BR apartment when our first son was born, and he shared our room with us for the first 10 months. It wasn't ideal, but it worked out fine until we got a bigger place
