Okay Im going to whine for a second.....i just want to be able to poop. I know, i know TMI but its a pain, literally! I have never tolerated the extra iron in vitamins but this is redicilous. Anyone else having the same issue? With my last pg my vitimans came with a stool softener but I cant remember the name of the prescription. I'm drinking plenty of water but I need to add more green veggies to my diet. Im starting to wonder if some of this crazy cramping is caused by lack of potty time.
Ugh, no fun! I'm right there with you, but it's the pregnancy makes me SO constipated. I've been on prenatal vitamins since 2005, so I think my body is used to them but every time I get pregnant, I get super constipated.
Hey there! Popping in from the June DDC.. wanted to share that at 13 weeks for me, I was hospitalized with severe constipation. The extra iron in the prenatals just really clogged me up. I now have been pooping regular thanks to taking Fiber Supplements (I'm taking the gummies from target) and it's really helped!!
And if you haven't pooped in a few days I would take some Miralax (you pour it in your drink and its tasteless) and you should poop within 1-2 days. After that start taking those fiber gummies (or pills). Truly helps! Haven't been constipated since.
Make sure you consult your Dr too. My Dr suggest these so definitely know they are safe.
