OMG I have eaten so many freakin eggs over the past 2 weeks. I know I am craving them for a reason, and I assuming that it is due to all the protein in them, but HOLY SMOKES BATMAN!!!!!

By my calculations I have eaten between 18 to 24 eggs over the course of the past 2 weeks. Thats right almost 2 dozen eggs.... Can I find somthing else to crave that is full of that much protein.

BTW~ Random thought here.... since getting preggo with my eggo, I have been craving eggs, alot of them... Does that make my egg craving eggo a cannibal?????

LOL @ cannibal egg! What a great thing to crave though! Much better than a bag of cheetos or something! I'm craving fresh squeezed OJ!

Since I have avoided eggs for most of my life its hard for me to eat them now even though I don't have a reaction to them anymore. Every once on a while I will want a ham, cheese, spinach, onion tomato omelette. With 5 people on the house a dozen will last over a month. Maybe you ahould raise a chicken.

I said this in Becky's egg post, but my mom insists that eggs are the hands down best food for a pregnant woman to eat. I did some research and it turns out not only are the full of protien (which we knew), but they also help develop the brain and spinal cord. I haven't had the cravings for eggs, but am still trying to eat one a day for Little T

My meals this week have consisted of hard boiled eggs, granola bars, crackers and lemon water. I have eaten a dozen eggs this week, and its only Thursday!

Ok so funny thing - I have been COMPLETELY repulsed by eggs since I got pregnant this time. This was actually one of the first things I noticed different is that I could not stand eggs AT ALL. I made myself an omelet one morning, got through a quarter of it, and couldn't do anymore, I was disgusted LOL. So I'll pass on the eggs, I'll have to get my protein elsewhere..

I'm with Lindsay eggs have been making my stomach turn. I cook them for my son almost every day, and it's all I can do to not gag. I wish I could eat them- they are so healthy for pregnant women!!!

Yup, I'm absolutely disgusted by eggs now. I tried to make an egg salad sandwich the other day with the rest of the Easter eggs....got two bites in and had to put it down.

Normally I absolutely love me some eggs and we have them for breakfast several times a week... right now even the thought of an egg makes me gag. I keep trying different preparations, but nope, my body's having none of it! which sucks really, because it's such a great snack for me to grab at work...
