I am trying. I’m wearing black underwear today for the first time in a week. I should point out that this is mostly due to the fact that I’m now completely out of white grundies…but I’m still proud of myself. This week with my weird cramps, I’ve kind of been on pins and needles, waiting for the other “shoe” to drop (I’ll try to fit in another analogy further on…) in the form of some kind of red spotting. Ergo the white undies. I could just do some more laundry…but I think this is a good learning experience for me. Patience…not laundry, that is. I have no more to learn about laundry.

I am a complete idiot. While I’m complaining about weird cramps (and writing this), I am also enjoying a hot steaming bowl of navy bean soup. Without benefit of pre-bowl beano, which I neglected to bring to work. Darn you navy bean soup and your deliciousness. My point is that when I come back on here tomorrow and complain about weird cramps, I really need one of you to point out to me that this is probably gas and I should not eat anymore navy bean soup. Thanks.

I am amazed. I hope it’s not bad luck, but DH and I have already picked out our names. What is amazing about this is that we have actually agreed upon names. Yes, already! With DD, we argued about this until she finally squeezed out of my hoo-ha, at which point he conceded. (good man) Has anyone else finalized this decision yet?

Edited to add: I am a bad employee. Can I just tell you how much of a time suck this place is? I seriously haven’t gotten any work done since joining TTC 6+ several weeks ago. You ladies rock. Now seriously, I have to go...

LOL Maggie, you're going to be a source of entertainment for us throughout this pregnancy!

We haven't agreed on THE names yet but we're both around the same ones.

What? You don't Zac Efron Hutchinson as a name?

(See I was trying to be cute there, but it turns out that I have NO idea who adolescent girls think are cool these days. So much for that.)

Sadly, my taste in grundies is very perfunctory. They serve a purpose for me, much like dishsoap, and as such, my selection really only comes in 3 flavors: black, white and nude. In my defense, it's been so long since I've had to impress someone with nice undies (it's that whole marrying your HS sweetheart thing)..we really should be amazed that I even bother to wear them at all. Or that I remember to throw out the tatty ones. So good job, me.

But if you don't have white underwear - what DO you wear under your immunologist pants? (Which I assume are white.) Please tell me they're undies with little antibody cells on them!

Nah - I worked in a lab so it was mostly jeans I did have flip flops once that said Th1 and Th2 on the bottom of each...so as you walked along they imprinted in the sand. The DH thought they were super nerdy

Come to think of it ....i dont think i own any more white undies either.

As far as names ....I have my names picked out in my head but not going to bring them up to hubby until we know what we are having. I pray pray pray he agrees becasue i'm not about to settle for something else so we will have a problem.

Lol... so far I'm loving this DDC!! You guys are wacky!!

We're pretty settled on ours too. Of course this is our third pregnancy this year so we've spent a lot of time thinking about it. The boys name is the one that gave us fits...

Kim, if you don't mind the pressure of last minute decisions, I highly recommend the method I outlined above. I think you said you're c-section - so our L&D situations are slightly different, but still childbirth is childbirth. If HE can do it, then he gets final say on the name. Otherwise...
