If cough drops are safe during pregnancy? Have you ever heard anything? I woke up this morning with a stuffy/runny nose, sore throat, headache and plugged up ears and a cough and I was going to go for the cough drops, but I'm not sure!

Just avoid the sugar free and I think you're good to go!
If you're really concerned, you can go with the all natural kind, but I really don't think I've heard anything bad about cough drops.

Cough drops are safe.... you are also safe to take cold medicine that doesnt contain high alcohol content or 'SA' ( sustained action ) ... steer clear from Multi-Symptom form of any of them too...
Robitussin, Sudafed, Mucinex, Tylenol, ect. are fine.
Try a salt water gargle and use Saline nose drops...

Might try sleeping with a humidifier... I had to my ENTIRE pregnancy last time around bc I woke up so congested all the time...
