Don't know how often I'll post, but am so excited about this baby!!!!! Tough situation - I work full time & traveling often thru beginning of June. Was planning to wait to say anything to the family until after my trip 2 Asia in May - mostly b/c I don't want them to worry more. Kids don't know either. Hubby knows of course - his reaction was sweet... "congratulations!" He said it with a smile & a kiss. He stays home while I work and I was surprised last month when he let me know he was ready to have another. We have 4 kids, 3 are in school already. I had been ready since my youngest was about to turn 3 - he'll be 4 this July. Call me fertile myrtle - I know how difficult it can be for some to conceive - I'm not bragging - I was just so surprised it happened so quickly! I have had cycles lasting up to 36 or more days, so I didn't test right away when I missed at 28 days. Then I had two days of acid reflux. Bought a test on day 31 because acid reflux only happens to me when I'm pregnant. I also run - still considered a novice but I had dropped 2 pant sizes and looked and felt bloated. I "popped" shortly after my BFP...I know it happens earlier with each pregnancy, but at 6 weeks - this is ridiculous! I can't even wear my pre weightloss pants comfortably. Broke down and bought some fold down waistline maternity pants for this trip. How am I going to hide this bump at work until after my U/S?!? Everyone knows I've been running. Oh, forgot to mention, my progesterone level is low - it was the same with my 2 boys - don't know about levels with my girls - don't think they checked "back then"...at 35 I can't stand the phrase "advanced maternal age". I have to go twice/wk for double injections and take the slightly less effective oral pills while traveling...anything is better than the alternative treatm ent while traveling - as long as the baby's ok. Have to figure out which vaccinations I can use before my trip to Asia. Hoping it isn't an issue. Can hardly wait until the U/S!
