tells me I need to make sure I'm "drinking lots of water" or that I "need to eat more!" I might lose it and kick somebody.
This isn't my first go'round. I KNOW to drink lots of water. I KNOW I need to eat. I feel like all I do is drink water and eat eat eat. I eat like every hour and a half at this point. If I eat any more, I'll be constantly stuffing my face.
Wouldn't be so bad if it were strangers because I could just write it off as they just don't know the situation. But it's like, my mom, who knows that I'm trying to get as many calories in as possible, and DH's family that really means well but really has no clue at all about my body.
In case you don't know, I have a hard time gaining weight whether I'm pregnant or not. I struggle because my metabolism is super high (my doc even checked my thyroid to make sure there wasn't an issue there). My goal is at least 15-20 lbs this pregnancy. I've gained 5 total so far.

Lol. I know the feeling! During my first trimester my FIL was constantly fretting about whether or not I was eating enough (I'm a really thin person). In the end my BIL (who is a doctor) told him to relax and I should eat just as much as I feel comfortable eating and that will be enough.
Sorry you have to deal with others comments and opinions. It sounds like you're doing great! It seems the solution to everything while pregnant is "make sure you're drinking enough water" It drives me nuts too! haha.
