I've got my appt at 1:30 tomorrow. I hate the first appointments though.......pelvic exam, find out your due date (as if we haven't already figured that out on our own....) and HOPEFULLY hearing the heartbeat.
I'll have to schedule with the perinatologist too I'm sure for my first ultrasound probably this month since I'm high risk. (Both of my children were 5 pounds or less and born at 37 weeks after a lot of preterm labor....)
well, it seemed to go pretty good. they are going to monitor me a lot due to my past with preterm labor. Today they didn't hear a heartbeat but I'm only 8 or 9 weeks so we aren't too worried since it's still early. I'll get an ultrasound next week to make sure there's no twins in there and to make sure of heartbeat and get a better idea of due date since it's tricky with me-I was on progesterone to get my period back after having an absent period january and february and then after my period in march when I told him the date of my period and the date we had sex (we only had sex once that month-poor husband) he thought, "that doesn't sound right at all.........." so we need to really pinpoint whether or not I was already pregnant when I took the meds......however, we are pretty certain I wasn't since I had 2 blood tests that were negative in february....so we are pretty certain on the due date, but guess we'll see next week!
hoping that next weeks ultrasound shows a nice strong heartbeat! even though they say not to worry....it's always in the back of my mind. Hoping for a healthy pregnancy this time around!
