I've heard stories of growing shoe sizes by as much as 2 sizes.

Did your feet grow and need bigger shoes?

I wear flip flops year around. Last time my feet were so swollen from pre-e I had to cut them off.

Mine grew about 1 size and on some days 2 sizes. Good idea to get flip flops.

Mine swelled up in the last month from water retention but they went back to their normal size after delivery.

I had to wear Ugg type slippers near the end, it was February, freezing cold but my feet wouldn't fit into anything! I remember sitting one day trying to get my boots on for NOT JOKING 10 minutes - one fit, but I COULD NOT get the other one on HAHHA! If it wasn't so cold, I'd have lived in flipflops. My feet went back to their normal size.

It has something to do if you have a high arch and carrying extra weight for that period of time can push your arch down and lengthen your feet. So, if you don't have high arches, I bet you'll be okay.

My feet just had swollen so much the last 2 weeks. I took pictures of my cankles haha - it was SO BAD!

Mine never changed. I do suggest a slip on shoe though. The last few weeks, you may not be able to "tie". I love my lands end mocs for the last few weeks. Easy to slip on and good for slippery sidewalks.

My feet grew about half a size until after the c-section. I had elephant feet after that. It took almost a month for the swelling to go away. I had to buy flip flops 2 sizes bigger than what I normally wear just to be comfortable.

Mine swelled a bit at the end, but after it was all said and done I was a half size-almost full size SMALLER.

Mine didn't. When I was in the hospital I got pumped full of so many fluids I was very swollen for a couple days after she was born, but I went back to my usual size.

I wear flip flops all year round too (crazy for Iowa winters...but I don't care!) but yes...my feet grew from 6 1/2 to a 7 and sometimes I wear 7 1/2. I also am a hairstylist so my feet have spread out quite a bit from standing on my feet all day....so not all is probably due to pregnancy...

I saw a commercial earliet that made me think about this post. Apparently their wonder spray can stretch your shoes in width and length then they go back to normal. If it really worked that would be on every pg woman's registry.

I'm already a wopping 10, but had a buy a 10.5W for the last few months of pregnancy. Not a big flip flop fan, especially in the fall & winter.
