What do you think your very favorite larger ticket baby item will be?

Probably the crib. I can't wait to start shopping for that and putting the room design together!

I can't wait to get my Maya Wrap. I have always had an old NoJo sling, and functionally, I loved it, but it was ugly as sin, so I am looking forward to having something pretty.

I am thinking about getting this - not a huge price tab, but the most expensive thing I am considering for baby.

Welcome baby with a Fisher-Price Newborn Rock 'n Play Sleeper at Walmart.com. Save money. Live better.

I think it will come in very handy in our living room/play room where we spend most of our day.

Keep your eye out on craigslist for a rock&play. I got mine for $25.00 and it even still smells brand new! They had two of them for sale, so maybe it was?

I am looking forward to getting a new double stroller. Someone had the nerve to tell me that I didn't deserve a new one. I snapped back that I suppose I could save money and just buy Sebastian a leash instead.

I want this one: http://www.amazon.com/Graco-Ready2Gr...I3P29BJXY2S1E3

We had our other one for 9 years! and it went through 6 kids before it got a little too warn to use anymore. The wheels started separating and everything. I am still peeved that a baby that's not #1 doesn't 'deserve' new things

Ami, I can't believe you posted that because I was going to post and ask what you all thought about it a few weeks back!! I was originally getting the yellow one until I found out we are having a girl. I am getting the pink one!! I have read a lot of excellent reviews and I think it will be very useful!!!

As far as the most expensive item, I think it will probably be a travel system. I haven't chose which one I want to get yet. However, I have saw the price range and they are very expensive.

As far as my favorite item of expense for now it is a travel crib. We do not have room for a nursery where we currently live. We are going to move but we have not found a new house as of yet. So, I have no idea when that is happening. For now baby's "nursery" is going to be a section of my bedroom I ordered this a few days ago and I can't wait for it to arrive!

Graco Travel Lite Crib - Jacqueline - Cookie's

Our "theme" will be pink and brown. I also ordered a diaper bag I love with the same color theme

Not sure. I don't need any really big ticket stuff, so maybe just the high chair? Ours is really worn after three boys, so I'm going to try to find a nice, gently used, really girly one at one of the consignment shops here.

ReptiMom, I agree 100% that each new baby should be celebrated. It doesn't matter if it's #1 or #10, each baby is a blessing, IMO. Yes, DS 2 and 3 had a lot of hand-me-downs, but I also made it a point that each of them would have some new things, even if it was just a couple of new shirts, etc.

I'm excited for the breast pump that's one of the most expensive things on my registry and I'm going to need it for when I got back to work in January.

As for things baby will actually use, the pack and play and travel system are exciting for me I didn't register for ones that I absolutely wanted and instead went with the least expensive ones that had the best reviews. Quite frankly it doesn't really matter since Jordan won't be using everything all the time anyway.

I think the furniture for the nursery will be our biggest ticket item. The stroller/infant carseat will be the next one.

I am excited about the co-sleeper. I have wanted one for a long time, and I am finally going to get it.

I still have all my son's things so the only thing this baby really needs is a new bouncer since my brother broke his when i lent it to them for their kid and I need/want a double stroller, so the double stroller would be the most exciting for me.. I LOVE walking as does my son so I hope this little guy does too

I guess I'm weird that I'm not excited about any big ticket items, persay. I am excited about putting a nursery together, something I didn't really get to do with Keira since her crib & things were in our room for the first year! We already have a glider from when Keira was a baby, so we just need a crib & dresser or changing table, leaning towards a dresser instead since a changing table doesn't really get much use past a certain point!
