Just ate lunch and am having abdominal pains. Has anyone else had waves of fairly intense pains? I'm hoping it's bad constipation, but scared. What should I do if it's constipation?

Your pains could be gas, I get that sometimes after eating. If it's constipation, drink LOTS and LOTS of water.... and then drink some more.

I wake up just about every morning with bad abdominal pains but I know it's just gas because once I use th restroom I feel fine. There are some prenatal vitimins that offer a mild stool softener that may help.

I have started eating two prunes a day. Maybe try that too!

I get those... all kinds of fun! I find that I'm not really constipated, but everything in that system feels really slow and backed up. Water is good... fiber is good...

I hope it doesn't last for you!

I got a bag of sunsweet ones prunes. I eat 3 in the morning & 3 at night. My body cannot handle iron and I found a prenatal with no iron but I still stay constipated without the prunes. It can cause some major abdominal pain.

it could be gas pain or it could even be round ligament pain as well. But like others said, up your water intake, add some prunes or other fruits and veggies to your diet. If you are taking a prenatal the iron is known to back you up a little bit.

I also have pains when I wake up in the morning - but after a restroom trip they subside. UGH - I had no idea this was a side effect until after we got preggers...

I had horrendous cramps /pains today...so bad I thought I may be miscarrying. But I ended having to go to the washroom, and the pain went away. It can be bad!!
