While we were out walking the dog I said "hey wanna hear some news?"
And she said "Sure"
I said "it's kind of big"
And she said "I'm listening."
So I said remember how I said one day you might get a brothe for sister? Well you are and it will be here in october or November.
She whined a little saying Aawww I told you I didn't want one!
And I explained how it wasn't her choice. And she was like how did it get in there? Well I know how but who put it there? And I said now who do you think... Soon she was asking questions her biggest worry was "what if it's bad?" I told her. Of to worry about that and about the ultrasound scheduled for the 14tg of June and she wants to go to that.ater she asked if I would need help and I said she didnt have to help if she didn't want to. And she asked well what if I want to? It went far better than expected.
Now what to say... If anything to my ex husband....
I'm so happy she took it well! Telling those older kids is so hard because they know what having a baby brother/sister entails. I'm glad you found a good time to speak to her - it seemed like good timing
As for the ex, I can't begin to advise as to when to tell, but I think you will know when the right time is.
Thank you Katie (.:Shortcake:.) for my beautiful siggy!!
