Is anyone else really hyper aware of constipation or bowel moment frequency? I swear I went days without going number two, and ever since then I feel like I'm not going as much. Any time I get left side pain (which seems frequent) I feel even more paranoid about this. I tried taking a pregnancy safe laxative, and I only had one movement shortly after. Should I be concerned? How often should I be having bowel movements, and when is too little a concern?

My prenatal vitamins were doing that to me. My OB recommended these fiber gummy bears and I take one in the a.m. and one in p.m. I like to have one once a day (personal preference) or I start cramping. The gummy bears really have helped and are so easy to take!

I feel like I never poop. A cup of coffee usually helps, but lately that hasn't even been doing the trick

I'll have to try the fiber gummy bears. I didn't feel that way when I first started taking pre-natals, but now that you mention it I suppose that could be the culprit. It's worth a shot, so thanks for letting me know!

I have very little issues with constipation with this pregnancy. Past pregnancies it was one of my biggest battles. I usually go at least once a day. Some times twice a day. I also drink TONS of water. Its one of my biggest cravings. The Colder the water the better. I do notice that when I am on the go and busy I drink less water and then have small bouts of constipation. Once I hit the water up again it regulates everything. My past pregnancies I was a big coke drinker. I quit drinking coke on a regula basis on New Years. It was a New Years resolution. I have one on occasion but now water is really all I want.
