so i have a plus size swim suit, but with a big arse belly infront, im not sure it will fit unless i show my version of the Chinese Road Map... sooo, not everyone really give a shiz about the road map, im not to fond of it myself... so i need to find a maternity, PLUS SIZE swim suit and have NO idea where to go to.. i dont like one pieces (rest assure, im not sporting any hot bikinis okay, breath).. but i like more of the tanks, with a skirt form looking bottom.. any suggestions?!!?

this is my reg not prego swim suit, to give an idea of what im looking for, no shame here.. but i obviously need something that will go OVER my belly

man my hair was so long then!!! and my glasses DH lost them last Aug... sorry, reminiscing

I think you are very pretty

I also love those types of swimsuits! Have you tried Macy's? That is where I usually get mine because I need the top by bra size vs. S, M, L.... If not in store, I imagine online- they are a little more $, but they always fit great! Then I usually get the bottoms at like Walmart or Target in a solid tone-

I was just having the swimwear discussion with a friend she decided on this
Plus Size Skirted Maternity Tankini Swimsuit | Motherhood Plus Maternity
sounds strangely close to what your looking for but im not sure not many options
her first choice was
Plus Size Maternity: 2 Piece V-Neck Crisscross Swimsuit (XL-4X)
but so expensive plus we couldnt really tell how the bottom part worked or if it even had a bottom.

I actually told my mom that I needed a bigger bathing suit top today. Your very pretty and I love that bathing suit. I was at target looking the other day and they have some really cute ones.

i typically LOVE bright colors.. but apparently clothing stores for big girls think that big girls wearing bright colors is a big no no... that swim suit i got at Torrid, a big girl store, and that swim suit was $75.. i assumed i'd be paying more because of it needing to be maternity.. so if its $75 or less, its a steal for me LOL

the one from motherhood at this moment is my top choice, but i dont like how it's all black, and boring but the style of the suit is what im looking for

Love the hair!!!

I dont have the courage to put a swimsuit on. I am so self conscious. I need to work on that. I don't want my girls being like me.

Anyway, I saw some nice ones at target. I don't know if they have plus size maternity, but they might online.

you know, i havent worn a bathing suit, like this, since i was probably 7 or 8 years old.. honest to God lol... since then (until last summer), i would wear t-shirts and board shorts.. and you know, i just got tired of not being involved in activities with my kids, we wanted to go to the water park a few times, and you HAVE to wear bathing suit attire to go on any of the slides, and a t-shirt is not bathing suit attire.. so i just got tired of it..

my next goal is to lose weight so i can go on rides with my kids at the fairs and stuff.. i mean there are some that i can go on, but when you have to sit with a child there isnt room for 2 and it really sicks, i got tired of sitting on the side lines watching my kids play, as they watch their mother sit on the side.. so i got the bathing suit and i dont regret it at all.. no one ever looked at me like "omg, shes so fat, shes gross" or anything like that.. though it is sad, i just think being overweight is society's new "skinny" and i don't look any different than 80% of the US lol

I know im going to get alot of stares this summer heck if someone tells me im gross I wont even blame em lol. I literally just bought 3 brand new bikinis before I found out. I decided while talking to my friend its just not worth buying more suits. she doesn't even have 1 so its no big deal but I just bought 3 come on. So Im just going to deal with the stares as my soon to be ginormo belly is bared to the world.

just thought of something have you tried using
TheFind - Every Store, All at Once

its kind of creepy you can link it to your Facebook if you want and it finds stores you and your friends like and decides your "personal style" to help it make suggestions but if you don't Facebook up it determines your location/local stores and internet sites that are legit with listing like your search then lets you filter by all sorts of things price color store payment options ect. but basically you can look for anything that can be bought and it looks for closest matches not every word so you normally don't get thousands of matches you get what your actually looking for.

*edit just thought of this 1 to
The swimspot by CreationsbySavannah on Etsy
she specializes in modest swimwear and vintage clothing there are 2 maternity swimwear options Iv never actually worked with her before though I was helping some friends look for custom costumes and we were going to order the 1700's dresses but those were premades and in the wrong sizes.

You can always go to OldNavy.com they have plus size maternity that's where I got my top and bottom when I had my DS, and I will have to go back and get a new top! And they even do bright colors!! haha

I LOVE Torrid...they are just sorta pricey..but definitely worth it on the bathing suit!

I got a size up bathing suit from Wal Mart. It's a one piece but it's got a skirt on it which I love. It helps me feel more comfortable about the baby belly and about surgery scars I have on my thighs. It's very comfortable and looks sooo pretty!
Do you have a Lane Bryant store anywhere near you? In New England it's in the malls. It's a plus size store and they have fantastic clothes!! They even have sexy lingerie! I would def check that store out. I didn't even think about it when i was looking for bathing suits...darn.

The problem is they don't have maternity plus size in store...so you'll have to do what I did was order it try it on and send it back if you don't like it...the things we have to go through! But the top I found I believe was a 1x I'm not sure..and it was good until about 8 months and my tummy showed a bit but shoot I was in my own back yard I didn't care! lol
