Do you read to your baby?

How does your baby feel about tummy time?

We read here and there but he would rather eat his hand lol....

He hates tummy time. He got so upset with it yesterday that he threw up. Ugh.

I make a point to read to her at least once everyday. DH reads to her (in German) probably every other day. The first couple of months she wasn't very into it but now she quietly sits on my lap and looks at the pictures.

She likes tummy time well enough at first but eventually tires and then wants to be picked up.

No I don't really read to her.

She usually doesn't mind tummy time but we don't do it a lot

Do you read to your baby? I tried in month two, but all he did was cry (I'm scared he takes after his dad, who hates reading, lol). I gave up for a bit, and when I tried again last week, he was interested in eating the book, which seems like an okay start. We have the cloth kind, so that's what we're sticking with for now. We more look at the pictures and discuss them, lol: "That's a dog. Dogs say woof, woof. Maybe you can have a dog when you're bigger. What kind would you like?"....

How does your baby feel about tummy time? He thinks it's for the birds.

I read books to her sometimes but she really doesn't care lol. Oh and she really hated tummy time until just recently. Still still doesn't really like it but will tolerate it for a few minutes. Most days I don't even try.

I have a book out that we look at. At first she would talk along with me then would just squirm.

Loves tummy time, the back version more so than tummy but she tolerates it for 10-15 minutes.

She has loved to look at books since about month two..... but we don't really 'read' them to her yet.

She HATES tummy time. Every now and again I will lay her on her tummy to see if we still hate it and yep... we still do.

I don't read to Winter. I should start. Alice has never been into it, so I didn't really think to do it with my second. She'll do floor time. Won't lay on her tummy unless I'm laying down and have her on my tummy. Even then she doesn't do the push up most of the time. Just eats her hands more.
