Need ideas for a middle name. DH and I decided to each throw out out names and start fresh. We agreed on Sean.

Now we need a middle name. Both of our paternal grandfathers were named John, so we like that for a middle name, but not Sean John (too P. Diddy for us). DH is also not thrilled with Sean Michael or Sean Ryan.

Any ideas for us? Our last name starts with G, so we don't want the middle name to start with A or O. We are open to variations of John that work with Sean.

Sean John, that's funny lol.. it actually didnt even occur to me until you mentioned it, not everyone knows him by Sean John.. i KNOW of it, but it wasnt the first thing that came to my mind lol

what about two middle names? a 1st middle name to separate Sean and John??

i actually like the name Johnavan

i think a middle name though that starts with a J works, because then there is always the nickname of SJ

Tasha, I'd like a J name for that reason. I love nicknames!

Tanya, I like William. that is funny! It does have a nice ring to it. Still won't go over, though.

honestly, i'd probably use John... if it means a lot to you, i'd use it... its just a middle name, no one will ever have to know his middle name, and when hes an adult, im sure by then no one will even know who P Diddy is since over the last years hes gotten less and less attention anyways LOL..

but when he goes to school, hes not going to have to write Sean John on his papers, i mean no one will ever know unless someone asks.. so i'd still use it
~Tanya~ and Lex&angels like this.

Sean John is just his clothing line anyways, its not what he goes by.. and no one gives a shiz about his clothes anyways lol..

now if you named him Sean John Combs.. then i'd say.. ehh... .. like Wilhelmina will be our girl's middle name.. one of them anyways.. and Wilhelmina is actually one of the best modeling agencies, but theres very few people who have ever even heard of it, and it's my grandmothers name.. so who cares lol

We just decided on Sean Jackson. Jack as in the nickname for John and son just do it's not two one syllable names. Thanks!! Even though none of you mentioned that, your prompting me to stick to John got us there!
