I feel like I need sleep a lot, but then I run myself into the problem of oversleeping. My brain keeps telling me to sleep more, but then I can't seem to get any 'good' sleep when I do. Does anyone else experience this? If so, what are your remedies, if any?

yes, I have been going through something similar. I get dog tired around 8PM and if I try going to bed then, I'll wake up in the middle of the night and have a lot of trouble going back to sleep. What I've found helps is lying down on the couch to read for an hour or two BEFORE I go to bed. It helps put my body in the relaxed state I need to be in to get some real quality sleep.

Unfortunately I can't do anything about the part where I wake up with a hugely full bladder!

I just sleep more lol. No help at all I know I know its probly not the healthiest option but i cant seem to help it even if I say ok 12 hrs of sleep is way more then I should ever need if I feel crappy Ill fall asleep agin even if I try to stay up. I decided just to start going back to bed because I was falling asleep in the tub and at the kitchen table otherwise. at least its not every day though otherwise I wouldn't get anything done.

I've had issues with sleep before the pregnancy, so I'm not surprised that it followed me this far into it--and possibly will throughout the whole thing. I just really hate it when I want to sleep more and I can't because I've slept SO MUCH already. It's like my body completely shuts down but my head gets all cluttered with strange dreams or races.

I have bipolar disorder.. my biggest problem is my racing mind, I cannot shut it off to fall asleep! my med's used to help knock me out and keep me asleep, but now that im pregnant, im not taking my meds..

I have a tendency of sitting/laying on the couch and watching tv until my eyes water Im so tired.. and then I wake up multiple times.. the only remedy I have found, is trying to go to bed sooner so that even tho I wake up multiple times, Im spending more time in bed trying to get sleep.. may not be the best quality, but at least im laying in bed for 10 hours instead of 6 trying to sleep...
