Who is doing most of the cooking for your family? Are you finding time to eat and take care of baby also?

That is one of the hardest things for me. Seems like every time I get ready to eat, Jacob wakes up and wants to eat, so I will sit at the table with him nursing while I eat. We have been grilling out alot so DH can do most of the cooking. He can't cook like I can but if I get it ready and marinated, he will throw it on the grill and cook it.

Waiters on Wheels does most of our cooking! I also do a lot from a local company called Sous Kitchen, which delivers pre-prepped meals that I stick in the freezer until we're ready to cook. Neither hubby nor I really enjoy cooking so it's hard to prioritize.

It's actually split pretty evenly between DH grilling and MIL or I cooking. Sometimes it does get hectic...like yesterday when the water was boiling and the chicken needed to be taken out of the oven AND Cole woke up and was screaming to be fed!!! Sometimes it seems like everything happens at once. It's like a tornado...everything is eerily calm and then BAM!

DH and I take turns cooking, but that's our normal routine. I miss having my mom and my MIL here though, they took care of all the meals and I didn't have to think about it! lol

Now that DH is back at work, I'm doing the bulk of the cooking. My parents cook sometimes as well though.

With DH and my dad out of town, I have no choice but to cook! There is no takeout/delivery within 30 minutes of my house.

I do a lot of prepackaged type foods from Costco. I'm all about simple and quick things right now! One of my favorite dinners right now is buying these thin crust tomato pizzas from Costco and adding a bunch of fresh veggies to the top of it before I cook it.. I add onions, peppers, olives, and a bunch of spinach. It tastes amazing and I like knowing I'm getting some veggies into my diet.

We have had a bit of problems with the whole cooking thing since I have returned to work... Dh is the SAHD and cooking is the one thing he has never really done... So I returned to work a couple of weeks ago, so we probably only cook a normal meal a few times a week.. the rest of the time its pasta for the kids or toasted sandwiches for us or something.. So yep we are still struggling a bit these days with meals.. but we are getting better.. hehe

DH gain a lot of sympathy weight during the pregnancy and now were both on strict diets..... basically were not cooking or eating real meals anymore, just salads and high protein items.... SOOO cooking is not necessary

I do 95% of it. It is very difficult though. Especially when I am trying to grill. DH works 3pm to 12am so he is not here to help me. When he is off he might grill or we eat take out.
