Im just right out miserable. I never get sick, this is driving me nuts not being able to breath and its takeing everything out of me to be up and chasing my 6 yr around. Ive called the ob 3 times today to see if they will give me antibiotics, but still no call backs. and my pcp and the wic wont give them to me. Im so frustrated with everything today. I know its a sinus infection, cause of all the pressure in my sinuses. My ear keeps popping. I just want to sleep right know.
The otc med is not helping at all.
Ok down complaining, but no one else seems to care today.
Awe, I'm sorry you are still sick Marisa! They really need to call you back and get you on some antibiotics. On a side note - not sure I would try a neti pot right now if you are all clogged up up there. Water may get stuck and cause the infection to get worse. Had that happen to me once and the water didn't come out for days. Hope you get some relief soon. Sinus infections are miserable.
They finally called me back. I go see the midwife tomorrow. For tonight the told me Arm n hammers Simply Saline and more Tylenol sinus pm so i can at least get some sleep. Hopefully I get antibiotics finally. At least I dont have the stomach flu thats going around.
Sinus infections suck. I am prone to them and know immediately when it's an infection versus just stuffy face. If its truly an infection, I doubt the netti will do anything. Your probably swollen and if so nothing is getting throug. I hope you can get some relief soon. I feel your pain.
I agree with another poster. I got so sick during my last pregnancy and I finally broke down and used Affrin for two or three days. I just needed relief so I could sleep and heal. I felt the benefits of rest outweighed the risks. I was sick for weeks.
