CA is more expensive for EVERYTHING.. but jezuz. I just got my bill for back when I was 8w went to the ER for bleeding and cramping... They took blood, and did an ultrasound.. I was there for less than an hour in ER.. Hours more in waiting room..... it was $5,500!!! Freaking INSANE.. I saw the doctor ONCE was in the room for less than an hour, had blood.draw, and ultrasound for $5,500.. Ridiculous

No thats no insurance! We didnt have coverage at the time.. But my insurance covers for 3more prior to insurance acceptance.. I have to call and give them my insurance info.. But I was shocked!

It's crazy. I saw the bills for my ER visit last April, it was about the same. The ambulance ride to the hospital that took all of 7 min was over 2000 dollars.

I'm glad your insurance will cover it for you!

Wow that's just insane. I think the same thing here costs about $200, at least it did in 2010 when I had my miscarriages -- and my insurance picked up the tab for all but $15 (making a gross conversion from euros into dollars).
