Anyone that has an exersaucer, does the toy parts come off for cleaning? Dave picked up a used one off craigslist and it needs a real good cleaning. I only looked at it quick but couldn't find a way to take the toys off. Its dirty around all the toys and under so if i can't get them off i don't want to keep it. Also the seat needs a good washing, does that come off too?

on mine, the parts did snap off, but you had to go underneath and jimmy them with a butter knife, it was kind of a pain. Same for the seat. It should connect with some kind of plastic ring that the fabric is folded over. You can take the ring off, wash the seat, and put it back together.

Yeah, it's going to be a real PITA, but they all should come off (I had to put all of mine on, lol, so they should all come off)

I worked in the nursery of a daycare for a while, and yeah, like the others said, it's a beast to do, but you can take them apart to clean them. Those things can get NASTY!! Especially when as many as 12 infants per day came through that room! You'd wipe them down between uses, but then when you went to deep clean... ugh!
