Evan still won't take a bottle, but I tried spoon-feeding him some pumped milk this afternoon, and he thought that was kind of neat. I didn't get much in him because I could only fit about 1/8th teaspoon at a time on the baby spoon, though. But at least he was smiling and (for the most part) swallowing it! Gives me hope that he will take rice cereal or something from a spoon in a couple weeks.

How's everyone else doing with bottle feeding? I know there were a couple others having trouble. Anyone tried solids yet?

Winter absolutely hates the bottle. I use a dropper sometimes. I think she would do well with a spoon.

Claire has only had a few bottles and most of the time she's ok with them and sucks them right down. If she's mad or overly tired she won't take it. We haven't tried solids yet and probably won't until at least 6 months. Not sure if we will even do purees or not. I think it would be too messy and I'm leaning toward giving her little pieces of things to pick up when she's ready.

Ds mainly chews on the nipple of bottles. They obviously confuse him, but he eventually gets some in. But that is okay by me, I hate pumping, I'd much rather bf.

Rory baffles me with a bottle. Sometimes she will suck down a good amount, sometimes only enough to get her by, she will only take it from me OR won't take if from me at all. So on and so forth...glad she doesn't get one very often...

Kyler is still taking his 6oz,sometimes 7oz every 4 hours with rice cereal added. I've tried spoon feeding him the cereal and he is does show alot of interest in it and does great with a spoon. We will start introducing other solids around 4 1/2.
